About Deva Foods
Deva Foods Ltd, based in Backford, near Chester, was established in January 2007 when husband & wife team, Andrew & Jan Walton, decided that it was time to bring all their passions and experience together into an enterprise to make quality farm products available to real food lovers.
Deva Foods Ltd has emerged from the shadows of a smallholding and a business consultancy enterprise: www.wtms.biz and is now in full flight. We have brought together our pedigree herd of Duroc pigs, a pedigree flock of Charollais sheep with our degree’s in Animal Science, Agriculture and Land Management and a Masters Degree’s in Meat Science (each), and combined these with a cumulative 25 years of food industry management experience ranging from quality and food safety sectors through to operations and logistical business experience.
Deva Foods Ltd firmly believes that good meat is needed to make good pork and lamb products. Real meat is supposed to be succulent and moist with a great flavour, superb texture and fantastic taste. Deva Foods achieves this in the meats that we produce by careful selection of the animals we farm.
